I can agree with you squid, that default is not up to my liking.

The default language is JS. I'm actually not liking it myself either because there is no easy to understand documentation for me. Reverting back to Codemirror

I'll be trying out a different editor called Monaco Editor, mainly because I have a lot more power with it. Any suggestions are welcome as this project is coming to an end :)

No, the hovertips are there, and I verified that Myles made it. Everything should be all good, and if not, I can add a template for the needed category :)

pgLXa8

I somehow can't find your creations? I believe that squid is correct, you didn't add a template.

68k%20Userbar%20%5BLight%5D.png

It was because there was no template defined for the category. Added them, should be fixed :)

pgLXa8

Could someone check out the Trigonometry and Assembly Hover Tip Creators I made to see if they can be fixed? I actually have some free time to spend doing edits, and this is impeding my progress.

Sorry for the late reply, having a honor grade is important for university xD

And nice job squid, spectacular work!

Hey team! I think that I can take care of completing the command references and/or making more programs for the archive. Best of wishes on our great and new accomplishments!

P.S I have some friends who want to learn Basic, so I believe that they can drive more traffic to our site lol. So let me know your opinions on that team!

  1. The IDE is my main priority. Tokenization is difficult, but I have some temporary workarounds being made right now.
  2. Complete command reference.
  3. Make 68k programs for the archives.
  4. Labs.

I'll start out simple, then push towards more advanced things.

What are our goals for the site in 2018? How can we make those goals a reality? I'm not talking about wishful-thinking goals, I'm talking about realistic goals that we can do this year if we work at it.

I can tell, but I know you can do it!

I hope Net Neutrality Wins, can't have some people slow my computer or even allow me to pay for using the net. Freedom!! xD

Re: IDE Progress by AbduBasheerAbduBasheer, 13 Dec 2017 01:01

For those curious, here's what I'm currently trying to detokenize (68k programs are untokenized when opened in the editor, but are then tokenized when run on the calculator).

A funny thing that I noticed was that the program is actually reversed, as in the jumbled code starts from the bottom of the code, all the way to the top. So the first line you see in the jumbled code is actually the last line of code in the calculator. In addition, the readable text and unreadable commands are reversed in order.

This will be quite the interesting task!
